Mader Named Chief Nursing Officer At Adirondack Health

Dave Mader, a certified critical care nurse and clinical documentation specialist, has been promoted to the position of chief nursing officer at Adirondack Health. Mader has worked as a registered nurse at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake since 1990, when he started as a staff nurse in the hospital’s intensive care unit. Over the next 29 years, he served as patient care director of five different hospital departments, led an overhaul of the clinical documentation improvement process, and rose to the position of assistant vice president of patient care services. As CNO, Mader oversees all aspects of patient care services across the Adirondack Health organization.
