Three Hurt In Monday Crash In Tupper Lake

Three people hurt in a three-car crash on State Route 30 at Fortier Road in the town of Tupper Lake Monday. An investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Kirill Y. Mikhailovsky, 17, of Tupper Lake, was traveling east on State Route 30, when his vehicle nearly struck a vehicle operated by Chad Foley, 35, of West Monroe, NY, which was stopped facing east, waiting to make a left turn onto Fortier Road. Mikhailovsky attempted to avoid rear-ending Foley’s vehicle by traveling into the westbound lane, where he was struck by a Frito-Lay truck traveling west on State Route 30, operated by Glenn F. Daily, 58, of Tupper Lake. Mikhailovsky’s vehicle then also struck the driver’s side of Foley’s vehicle.

Mikhailovsky was transported to the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake for a hand and arm injury. Foley was also transported to the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake for general pain. Daily was not injured. Mikhailovsky was ticketed for moving from lane unsafely.
