Ranger rescue in the Town of North Elba. On Feb. 25, Forest Rangers responded to a call for a hiker with an unstable lower leg injury on Wright Peak. Rangers eventually reached the 60-year-old from Canada, stabilized her leg, and began packaging her in a toboggan for a carry out consisting of the tobaggan and a rope system. The subject was brought to Adirondak Loj, then for further medical treatment.
