New Yorkers will be able to fish for free Saturday, September 25 to celebrate the annual promotion of outdoor activities like hunting, fishing and target shooting. New Yorkers get six free fishing days a year and Saturday will be the fifth. The last and final free fishing day this year will be on Veterans Day, November 11.
