Potentially Bad Chicken Salad Should Be Off Store Shelves

You should be good in terms of potentially bad chicken salad that has been sold at Save-A-Lot. The concern is it contains a dangerous listeria germ, but the Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports local stores tell them the product has been off the shelves since late last week. The product, 12-ounce containers of Reser’s Chicken Salad, with “use by” dates of Sept. 30 to Oct. 31, 2019, are the only products affected by the recall. Save-A-Lot is taking refunds for chicken salads between those dates.
