Absentee Ballots Going Out In Lake Placid

Village of Lake Placid voters should see forms to apply for an absentee ballot arrive in the mail next week. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports Lake Placid Village Board of Trustees members voted Tuesday to pay for prepaid envelopes that will let the village’s 1,555 registered voters not only mail back applications for absentee ballots for free, but also to mail the ballot itself for free.
