Chamber Reacts To Possible Lifting Of Border Crossing Restrictions

The North Country Chamber of Commerce is welcoming news reports and private indications that the Canadian Government is actively considering allowing the Arrive CAN app and other pandemic-related border crossing restrictions to expire at the end of the month. The Sun Community News reports Chamber President Garry Douglas released a statement reading, in part,
“We have continued to encourage our Canadian friends to drop the app as a border crossing mandate, in concert with a growing number of organizations and officials in both countries, and are pleased such a move is now under active review.”
