On February 7, 2021, State Police arrested 30-year-old Michael P. Maddalone of Lake Placid, after he smashed the victim’s truck with a shovel. This took place on Mill Pond Drive in North Elba. The victim’s 2015 Chevrolet Silverado sustained damages to the driver’s side window, driver’s side headlamp and front grill. Maddalone was charged with Criminal Mischief 2nd degree. He was released with an appearance ticket for the Town of North Elba Court.
