An upcoming project designed to improve reliability and resiliency of utilities for residents and to support events, such as the Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games, will require a 10-hour planned outage. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports the outage was originally planned for 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. this coming Tuesday, but is now scheduled for 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. that day.
