$8.5 million dollars is headed to the Adirondack Regional Airport from the state for upgrades to its terminal building. The project redesign and expand the main receiving area, with more windows, easier access for people with disabilities and improved HVAC systems, reports the Adirondack Daily Enteprise. There would also be an expansion of the Transportation Security Administration screening area.
