Recently, State Police arrested four teens following a burglary reported on November 22, 2020, at the former Cell Science Center on Barn Road in the town of North Elba. State Police investigated after the Lake Placid Fire Department responded to a report of the fire alarm system being triggered. First responders found broken windows, spray paint damage on walls, and expelled fire extinguishers. As a result, the following four suspects were arrested and charged with one count each of Burglary 3rd degree. The teens are 18 and 19 years old and all live in Lake Placid.
