Essex County, NY Public Health officials report that as of January 11, New Yorkers in Phase 1a and segments of Phase 1b are eligible for COVID-19 vaccines. Vaccinating the populations in Phases 1a and 1b is expected to be a weeks- to months-long endeavor. It is estimated currently that completing vaccinations for the groups eligible in Phases 1A and 1B will take approximately 14 weeks.
