Tupper Lake Man, With Kids In Car, Charged With DWI

State Police conducted a traffic stop on State Route 3 in the town of Harrietstown, on a Dodge Journey for speed, 71 mph in a posted 55 mph speed zone. The operator, 43-year-old Douglas L. Corrow, of Tupper Lake, was arrested after he initially gave investigating troopers false information, and was found to be driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license. Two children were also in the vehicle with him, ages 14 and 12. Corrow’s blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.11%. Corrow was charged with Felony DWI under Leandra’s Law, False Personation, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd degree. He was released on appearance tickets for Harrietstown Town Court.
