ARISE (Adirondack Residents Intent on Saving their Economy) announces it’s received funding from Adirondack Foundation to help support the Tupper for Kids Backpack Program. Since January, ARISE along with members of the Tupper Lake Central School and the Tupper Lake Community, has been coordinating a Food Backpack Program to assist families with nutritional resources for their children during weekends, when school meals are not available.
