Lake Placid voters will choose a new mayor and two village trustees Tuesday. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports polls at the North Elba Town Hall will be open between noon and 9 p.m. There are two candidates running for mayor and four candidates running for two trustee seats. All of the open positions carry four-year terms. Absentee ballots will be counted after the polls close.
