Adirondack Health Chief Operating Officer Aaron Kramer has been selected to serve as acting chief executive officer while the health system’s national search for a new permanent CEO continues. In March, Sylvia Getman, Adirondack Health’s current president and CEO, announced her decision to retire this summer. Adirondack Health has contracted with AMN Healthcare, an executive search firm, to identify candidates for the permanent CEO position. Kramer joined Adirondack Health in 2015, as the organization’s assistant vice president for information systems. In 2016, he was promoted to chief information officer and, in 2019, to chief operating officer.
