How LPHS Is Handling Graduation

The Lake Placid High School is planning an outdoor graduation and prom. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports
Lake Placid usually has an outdoor graduation at the Olympic Speedskating Oval in front of the high school. But the state Olympic Regional Development Authority is doing construction on the oval this year, so they’re moving it to the school athletic fields by the horse show grounds. The school is organizing a 250-500-person event, which means each graduate can bring up to eight guests. Attendees will need vaccination cards or negative COVID tests to attend.
