The New York State Department of Transportation advised motorists today that starting Monday, June 28, State Route 9N will be reduced to a single lane with alternating flows of traffic controlled by flaggers from just north of the intersection with Route 73 in the hamlet of Keene in the town of Keene, to Trumbulls Road (County Route 85) in Upper Jay in the town of Jay, Essex County, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays to facilitate a repaving project. Work is expected to be completed by mid-July, weather permitting.
