In Malone, asbestos abatement is expected to start at the site of the Harison Place project and will last at least two weeks. In addition to asbestos abatement, steps to prepare the site for building removal are taking place. This includes fencing around the construction area, staging of heavy equipment and traffic safety barriers. Citizen Advocates is completing a permit process through the state Department of Transportation.
