The Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce will once again be honoring an area resident for their outstanding service to the community with its annual “Don Duso Citizen of the Year” award. A citizen of the year demonstrates outstanding service to the community, significant and sustained contribution to the quality of life in the area, and who exemplifies Saranac Lake’s community spirit. If you know of someone who meets these characteristics and would like to nominate them, please send an essay detailing how that individual meets the three criteria to director@slareachamber.org by September 1st, 2021.
