On August 16, 2021, at approximately 9 p.m., State Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence in the town of North Elba. An investigation revealed that 23-year-old Evan T. Boeve and his father, 47-year-old Christopher Boeve Jr., began fighting. Evan also punched a window at the residence, causing it to shatter. Christopher was found to be in violation of an order of protection issued by the Town of North Elba Court. Evan was charged with Criminal Mischief 3rd degree and Christopher was charged with Criminal Contempt 1st degree. Both were released with appearance tickets returnable in the North Elba Town Court. State Police were assisted by the Lake Placid Police Department.
