There is a coronavirus outbreak at the Essex Center nursing home in Elizabethtown. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, at least 11 residents and three staff members at the nursing home — which experienced this county’s deadliest coronavirus outbreak to date last year — have tested positive for COVID-19. The county Health Department reports three residents were hospitalized with COVID-19 as of Thursday.
