The Essex County Health Department is reporting 2 more deaths due to COVID, bringing the total so far this week to four (4). Two (2) of the four decedents were part of the Essex Center cluster.
Three (3) people passed while hospitalized; 1 person passed at residence within a nursing home.
Two (2) people were vaccinated; 1 person was partially vaccinated; 1 person’s vaccination status is not known. All had pre-existing conditions making them most vulnerable to COVID.
