A two-day search for a local hunter, which brought out hundreds of volunteers, forest rangers and members of Adirondack Mountain Rescue, ended the way no one wanted it to. St. Lawrence County Coroner June Wood said Thursday afternoon that the hunter, Ray Martin, was found deceased. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports the 65 year old Martin was reported overdue from a hunting trip at around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
