A former Bloomingdale postal employee has been sentenced to a $5,000 fine and 12 months probation for stealing prescription drugs from mail parcels. Sun Community News reports 27 year old Brittany Irvine, formerly of Bloomingdale, admitted she started stealing prescriptions in June 2019 while she was a distribution clerk at the United States Post Office in town. She was arrested two months later after she stole oxycodone pills from three packages. Irvin was sentenced for the federal thefts Dec. 15.
