Tuesday, Adirondack Health reinstated limited patient visitation hours at Adirondack Medical Center. One visitor per patient is permitted between the hours of 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. during a patient’s stay in the hospital. The one visitor must be the same person for the duration of the patient’s stay. For a patient just out of surgery and settled back into their room, a 15-minute “check-in visit” will be permitted, if outside the regular visiting hours listed above. For a patient treated in the emergency department, one designated support person is permitted.
