LPCS District Dress Code Revision Rejected By Board

The Lake Placid Central School District Board of Education shot down a new district dress code policy that would have allowed high school students to wear hats in class. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, the vote was 3 to 2 with board members Martha Spear and Daniel Cash voting in favor of the new policy and members Joan Hallett-Valentine, Colleen Locke and board President Rick Preston voting against it.
