North Country Community College is partnering with the Franklin County Suicide Prevention Coalition to host a pair of Mental Health Awareness events for the community – one in Malone, one in Saranac Lake – and is seeking submissions of art to showcase at each event. Each Mental Health Awareness community event will feature mental health information and resources, food, music, art and fun activities for kids. Speakers from the community will also share their stories. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. The Malone event will take place Monday, May 2 from 2 to 6 p.m. at North Country’s Malone Campus, located at 75 William St. The Saranac Lake Mental Health Awareness event is set for Wednesday, May 4 from 2 to 6 p.m. on the college’s Saranac Lake campus, 23 Santanoni Ave.
