The Adirondack Health Foundation’s Black Fly Gala raised was held virtually on Tuesday, May 24, raising more than $107,000 for the Cornerstone Campaign’s patient room renovations at Adirondack Medical Center. Over $27,000 of the funds raised will directly support the purchase of a new digital fetal heart monitoring system for the maternity unit. The 2022 Dr. Edward L. Trudeau Award was presented to Rick Preston, who retired from Adirondack Health in May after more than 30 years with the organization’s rehabilitation department.
