The North Elba Town Council and the Lake Placid Village Board of Trustees will hold a special joint meeting on Thursday to hear a presentation about the new Lake Placid and North Elba Destination Management Plan. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprsie the plan mainly deals with managing tourism to the benefit of the community, more than it is a marketing program.
