Renovations are getting underwa at the former Bowlwinkles bowling alley in Lake Placid, and new owners Rob Kane and Tom Anderson hope to open the alley by the end of this year as Big Z’s Hangout at Lake Placid Lanes. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, their hope is that the bowling alley would be ready for opening toward the end of this fall, ahead of the FISU World University Games next January.
