The National Audubon Society board has named Saranac Laker Shelly Cihan as one of its newest members. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, Cihan was voted onto Audubon’s National Board of Directors at the board’s September meeting in New Mexico. She’ll act as a communication liaison between the national board and local Audubon chapters, specifically when it comes to bird conservation along the east coast from Maine to West Virginia.
