On December 3, 2022, Troopers arrested Vadim Bacsan, age 35, of Lake Placid, NY for grand larceny. Troopers responded to Hannafords Store located on Hadjis Way, in the town of North Elba for a larceny complaint. An investigation determined Bacsan has been stealing merchandise from the store over the span of multiple months totaling in $5,457.14. Bacsan was arrested, arraigned in the Town of North Elba Court and released on his own recognizance.
