Residents Returning To Donald E. Smith Apartments In Tupper Lake

Some of the four dozen residents of the Donald E. Smith Apartments who were displaced by a sprinkler system break the day after Christmas, have started to move back in. Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports work on reconstructing the recently-renovated units damaged by the water has begun and building managers say the rest of the tenants will continue to move back in as construction allows. 16 of the building’s 50 apartments were not damaged in the flood.
