Over the weekend, bitter cold temperatures in no way dissauded anglers from turning out for the Northern Challenge in Tupper Lake. Temps were hovering at around minus 35 Saturday morning but ultimately more than 700 people took part in the catch-and-release ice fishing derby where competitors are only allowed to catch pike.
