Conservation Group Looks To Build Trailhead

A land conservation group is looking to build a trailhead and a parking area on the Lake Placid end of the Adirondack Rail Trail and is gathering state and private money to do so. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports the Open Space Institute is seeking to build the entrance to the rail-trail on Station Road, on land currently owned by the Lake Placid-North Elba Historical Society.
