State planners are working now on a Unit Management Plan for John Brown Farm State Historic Site in Lake Placid. An informational meeting held online brought together stakeholders and local residents, who shared their thoughts about interpretation and preservation of the 213-acre property with its historic farmhouse, barn, interpretive site and family cemetery.
