State Police issued 21 tickets in Essex County during an “Operation Hard Hat” detail.
Late last week, Troopers monitored traffic on Interstate 87 in the town of Elizabethtown while road crew conduct roadwork. During the detail, troopers and the Essex County Sheriff’s department blended with the workers and observed traffic.
21 tickets were issued: Speed-7, Other Moving-6 and 8 non moving violations in work zones.
