Tupper Lake Holding Public Meeting On Cutting Expenses

The village of Tupper Lake is holding a public hearing on its tentative budget for the upcoming year tonight, but the tentative budget currently available is far from complete. According to the Adirondack Daily Enteprise, Village Mayor Paul Maroun said while the current tentative budget exceeds the state tax levy cap by a significant amount, he hopes to bring it down to the cap level, or even lower. The meeting is set for Wednesday evening in the village offices.
