Adirondack Health’s dental care facility in Lake Placid is still operating as the state Department of Health continues its review of the hospital’s proposed closure plan for the facility. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports though Adirondack Health aimed to close its dental care office by May 1 after submitting a proposed closure plan for the facility to the state Department of Health on Feb. 1, the office has remained open over the last week and a half as the hospital waits for a determination on the plan, which was still under review by the state DOH .
