A pooling of grant funding received separately from the National Endowment of the Arts will allow two local arts groups to launch an Artist-in-Residence program in Saranac Lake. Sun Community News reports Pendragon Theatre and BluSeed Studios will use $75,000 to launch the program’s first year. Twelve artists will be commissioned to create public art in Saranac Lake that looks at the issues and lives of the community.
