This spring, the West Branch of the Ausable River will once again be the site of a popular fly-fishing competition — The Ausable Two-Fly Challenge — that stretches from Lake Placid to Wilmington. Sun Community News reports the event will take place May 18, 19, and 20 and is expected to lure more than 100 anglers to the Adirondack region. Participants are encouraged to register early.
