A spate of graffiti has made a mark on the village of Lake Placid in recent weeks. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports a few cases of graffiti that have popped up in several locations on village and private property starting around the first week of April. Various electrical boxes around the village, as well as the bathrooms in the municipal parking lot, the Mill Pond dam and other locations in the village have been the targets.
