The Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the third annual community event “Grounded: Get Down To Earth In Saranac Lake” on Saturday May 6, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Dewey Mountain. The event is meant to highlight many of the activities the Saranac Lake area has to offer during what is typically seen as an undesirable mud season. The event will kick off with a 5K Run/Walk and 1 mile fun run at 10 a.m. along the wooded trails on Dewey Mountain with Adirondack Coast Events doing official timing and race announcements. The day will continue with a Disc Golf Tournament at 12 p.m. This family friendly event will celebrate community and the spring season with a variety of activities including live music and food.
