North Country Community College will offer a course this summer that is designed to prepare students for jobs and careers in childcare and early childhood education. The Child Development Associate program is a non-credit course that covers all the fundamentals of child growth and development. The course will run from 6 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday from May 30 to Aug. 16. It will be offered at the college’s Malone, Saranac Lake, and Ticonderoga campuses, and will include both in-person and live online instruction.
