The Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism is hosting a virtual community session on Wednesday to discuss business and community planning efforts behind next year’s total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024. ROOST’s virtual session will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 10. The northern region of the Adirondacks — including the Tri-Lakes area — is in the path of totality for the eclipse for around three-and-a-half minutes starting at around 3:24 p.m. on April 8th next year. People outside the path of totality will only see a partial eclipse.
