A Tupper Lake woman is facing 19 years to life in prison for the murder of her mother, back in July of 2020. NBC 5 reports Alexa Gallagher was sentenced Tuesday in Franklin County court.
According to court documents, the murder occurred on July 28, 2022, when Gallagher physically attacked her mother, Melissa Guisewhite, and stabbed her with a knife multiple times.
