After years of legal challenges, the Adirondack Park Agency approved adding a roof to about 100 boat slips at the Saranac Lake Marina at its board meeting on Thursday. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports, ten years ago, the Saranac Lake Marina asked the APA if it could add roofing to its boat slips to protect boats from the elements. At the time, the APA told the marina needed a variance to do that.
