In the Lake Placid Marathon and Half Sunday, David Bea of Cincinnati won best overall time, 2 hours, 40 minutes and 27 seconds. Lee Sortore, of Rochester, claimed second place overall. The Adirondack Daily Enteprise reports in the women’s marathon race, Kelsey Davidson was the first to cross the finish line in the women’s full marathon race — however, she didn’t win. Karina Bolton, of Albany, who crossed the finish line shortly after Davidson, won the race in a time of 3:22:28.00 — 0.02 seconds faster than Davidson.
