New York State Police in Troop B are cautioning stores and consumers about the recent circulation of counterfeit bills across the North Country area. Several stores have accepted counterfeit bills, varying in denomination, as their sale of purchase.
Some of the bills will have “For motion picture purposes” printed on the top right corner.
